About

I design products that earn their place in people's lives.

Story

I started my career in social work, where I saw how poorly designed systems create real barriers for people. That perspective continues to shape how I approach design, grounded in understanding behavior and focused on making complex systems work in practice.

As a Senior Product Designer, I lead end-to-end initiatives that connect user needs with business goals. My work focuses on simplifying complex problems, shaping product direction, and designing systems that scale across surfaces and use cases.

I am drawn to problems that require both clarity and craft. The challenge is not just what to design, but how everything connects. I aim to create experiences that feel intuitive, considered, and durable over time.

Philosophy

Start with the story

I think about what we're trying to communicate before getting into the UI. The interface is just how that story shows up.

Focus on the decisions that matter

I care more about making the right call than producing a lot of artifacts. The goal is clarity, not output.

Keep it simple by default

Especially with AI, it's easy to over-design. I try to be intentional about what's actually needed and remove anything that doesn't serve the experience.

How I lead

I work closely with product and engineering to align on what we're building and why, and I stay involved to make sure the work holds up through execution. I care about clarity in the work and in how we talk about it.

I've mentored designers across levels, led design reviews across teams, and represented design in exec conversations where the goal was to make the work understandable and actionable.
